This year we are using the blog to celebrate GOOD CAUSES
These good causes include activities our teachers are involved in to raise money for charities or the good causes that we at D.J.M. Personnel directly support through donations.
In 2009 we have donated money to these good causes:
1. SENSE . Mike Cull ran the London Marathon again this year to raise money for SENSE - National DeafBlind and Rubella Association. D.J.M. PERSONNEL again supported Mike and his charity at the London Marathon by donating £ 160.00 to Mike's charity SENSE
2. Breast Cancer Charity - Thunderhearts. D.J.M. Personnel donating £500.00 to the THUNDERHEARTS Harley Davidson bike ride. This bike ride was only open to women who have had breast cancer. The ride was between Los Angeles and San Francisco and raised money for young women across the world who are dealing with breast cancer.

Living in South London
Why South London? Diverse - Vibrant - Alive
It will take a month of Sundays to visit the treasures of South London. From the markets, galleries, parks & pubs - there is something for everyone!
Travel from the green parks of Richmond & Kingston, the lively and trendy pubs & shops along the banks of the Thames through to the luxuries of Wimbledon - home of THAT Tennis Tournament - to the vibrancy of trendy inner city life in Clapham through the leafy suburbs of Merton and Sutton continuing through the shopping mecca of the Whitgift shopping centre and huge array of restaurants & clubs of Croydon. Further down south to the green country fields and villages of Surrey and Sussex, winding back up through to the raucous and lively street markets and entertainment in Brixton & finally to the historic and surreal environs of London Bridge, Tower Bridge and Southbank of Southwark!
This is the life of South London - diverse - varied - and vibrant!
A place like no other & a place with something for everyone!
'I just wanted to say thanks for everything you've done for me in the past few months! I really appreciate all of your time and effort and you really made me feel valued and like a real teacher, and most importantly, a real person! Thank you for making me so happy and glad that I can carry on teaching and doing what I came here to do.'
